We are beginning to review for the High School Assessment. All government students will be issued a packet on April 24 (A) or April 25 (B).

April 22/23 - Test on the Federal and State courts systems, our legal heritage and principles of the legal system the First Amendment (what is protected and not protected), six Supreme Court Cases. There is a review packet for this test. 

April  2/3 - Unit Test on Public Policy - the last grade for the third marking period. Study!

March  31/April 1 - Unit Test on Public Policy - the last grade for the third marking period. Study! Use these sites to help you: Public Policy JeopardyHSA Questions - do the Mini-Assessments for different years focusing on Expectation 3.1 (Impact of Geography on Governmental Policy).

March 27/28: Finish the packet on Monetary Policy, especially the scenarios on the last page. You will receive a review packet for our public policy test (due April 2/3)

Feb. 1/4 - Many of you received letters about your performance on the most recent county assessment. This letter needs to be signed and returned to me as soon as possible. Parents: please email me if you want verification about this letter. Thanks! 

Jan. 30/31 - Complete the "Current Goals" worksheet using your textbook pages 607 - 609. Make sure your map is finished and your course outline signed.

Attention: The Advanced Placement test is May 9th. Students will be completing a review unit on their own while we push on with Chapters 29, 30 and 31. On Monday, April 24th, I will give students an instruction sheet for this unit.

April 24th - Test on Chapters 28 and 29

April 22nd - Part 3 on World War II due.

April 16th - Part 2 due (focuses on the rise of Hitler) 

April 14th - Part 1 (chapter 29) due

April 10th - Age of Anxiety homework packet. We will not have time in class today to review the artwork from this period. Here is a power point you can view. 

March 25th - Power test on the 1800s - 80 questions (multiple choice). Here is a review guide you can use to help you prepare! 

March 14 - Your pink form for taking the AP test in May is due to Mr. Lay in the Main Office. 

March 12 - In class timed DBQ (test grade) 

March 10 - Test on Chapter 25. Need some ideas for review? 

March 4 - The IDs for the rest of Chapter 25

February 1st - Chapter 24 charts. There will be a test on both Chapters 22 and 24 on February 5th.
