DECA
The South River DECA Chapter is open to all students who have taken, will be taking or are presently taking a course through the Business Department. The school chapter is an affiliate of a national high school and college organization which promotes career awareness, leadership, and civic consciousness among students interested in business. Activities include attending career and leadership development conferences at the local, state and national levels; participating in civic activities in the local community; and taking business related field trips. Colleges and businesses nationwide know DECA, so membership is a great opportunity for something to add to job applications, resumes and college applications.

7UP Challenge International Winner
Kudos to Sumit D., of the South River High School DECA chapter, for developing an effective web campaign using the guidelines of the 7UP Challenge, a competitive event held off-site.
Sumit designed a 7UP web campaign for lemon-lime and cherry flavors. He was selected as an international winner in his category. In his web campaign, Sumit included two jingles he composed himself and some catchy animations.
DECA has granted permission for this web campaign to be temporarily posted online for the public to see.
