The guidance office compiles a list of available scholarships every two weeks and copies are posted in all Senior English classes. Applications for the scholarships are kept in the scholarship files in the guidance office. Information about financial aid, scholarships, colleges and careers can be found at various websites: collegeboard.org, fastweb.com, etc.

The High School Years is a monthly newletter that is sent out. It gives parents and students information and advise about being in high school.

Placement tests and registration for the Community College will be held in the spring at the high school.
We will post the date of the next Financial Aid Night as soon as it becomes available.
Many colleges and universities send admission counselors and representatives to South River during the school year. This information is advertised via morning announcements and is posted on the Information Board located across from the cafeteria. Any student who wishes to meet with an admissions representative must sign up in the Guidance Office prior to the scheduled visit.
