Themes

The preschool program incorporates themes into the curriculum. The themes help organize our schedule and make the children excited and more interested in the lessons and activities. The Preschool program covers approximately thirteen themes during the school year. Samples of themes may include the following:

Letters of the Week

During the year we also incorporate Letters of the Week. The Letters of the Week help the preschoolers learn/write all the letters of the alphabet in a fun and interesting way. In preschool the teachers use the Zaner-Bloser Method to help the preschoolers easily learn all the letters. The preschool focuses on about 4 letters during a theme and the teachers mix the Letters of the Week in with the activities that the preachoolers are doing each day.
